RESOLUTION NO. 27-16 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br /> TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL <br /> YEAR 2016-2017; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR <br /> OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta of Pa1m Beach County, Florida, on September 15, <br /> 2016, held a public hearing as required by Florida Statute 200.065; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta of Palm Beach County, Florida has established its <br /> fiscal year to begin on October ls of each year and end on September 30�' of the following year; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta of Palm Beach County, Florida, set forth the <br /> appropriations and revenue estimate for the Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 in the amount of <br /> $19,127,050. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM <br /> BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br /> Section 1 The Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Final Budget is adopted. <br /> Section 2 The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach County, <br /> Florida, designated the Finance Director or her designee as Budget Officer in accordance with <br /> Section 166.241(3), Florida Statutes. The Finance Director or her designee, as the designated <br /> Budget Officer, with the written approval from the Village Manager, shall be authorized to make <br /> certain budget adjustments within a department provided that the total of the appropriations of the <br /> department is not changed. <br /> Section 3 The Village Clerk shall mail a copy of this resolution to the Village of Palm <br /> Beach County Property Appraiser, to the Palm Beach County Tax Collector, and to the State of <br /> Florida Department of Revenue within three (3) days after its adoption. <br /> Section 4 The Village Clerk shall, within thirty (30) days of the efFective date of this <br /> resolution, certify to the State of Florida, Department of Revenue that the Village has complied <br /> with all statutory requirements in adopting the millage rate and budget. The Village Clerk shall <br /> transmit to the Department a copy of this resolution, a copy of the certification of value showing <br /> the rolled-back rate and proposed millage rates as provided to the Property Appraiser and a <br /> certified copy of the published advertisement of the final budget public hearing. <br /> Section 5 This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br />
