ORDINANCE N0. 427
AN ORDINANGE OF THE VILLAGE GOUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. ANNEXING A
CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Subsection 29 of Section 4.02 of
Article IV of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta and Chapter
171, Florida Statutes, 1975, as the same may be amended from
time to time, the Village Council may annex any lands adjoining
the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the
petition of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, Tequesta Bay Partnership, the owner of a ',
certain parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, ',
', has filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that
the lands described therein be annexed to the territorial limits
!,' of the Village of Tequesta, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, as follows:
~ Section 1. That the parcel of land owned by Tequesta
Bay Partnership and more particularly described within attached
,I Exhibit "A", legal description, along with the adjacent road
;, rights-of-way more particularly described within attached
~ Exhibits "B" and "C", legal descriptions, is hereby annexed and
~; incorgorated into the Village of Tequesta, Florida with the same
~ force and effect as though same had originally been incorporated.
