A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING EMERGENCY VEHICLE SUPPLY (EVS) OF
COCONUT CREEK. FLORIDA TO BUILD AND EQUIP THE TEQUESTA POLICE VEHICLES
AS PART OF THE IN-CAR MOBILE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM REQUESTED BY THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA POLICE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE.
Whereas, the Village of Tequesta Police Department requests using EVS as the vendor to install
the necessary equipment in the police vehicles to accommodate the implementation of the laptop
computers, attached as Exhibit "A,"
Whereas, the City of Miami currently has a contract with EVS to provide the same equipment
and services: Contract Award #OS-06-035A (10).
Whereas, the Village Council has approved the In-Car Mobile Technology Program (Resolution
#30-06/07) and the budgeted funds are available in account #001-175-546.302 in the amount of
$66.66.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approve Emergency Vehicle Supply as the vendor to build and equip the Tequesta Police
Department's patrol vehicles attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as a part of this
Resolution is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the
same on behalf of the Village of Tequesta.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Vice Mayor Watkins, who moved its adoption. The
motion was seconded by Councilmember Paterno, and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
