HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_Regular_10/14/1975 MINUTES OF THE MEETIlVG OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA October 14, 1975 A Council Meeting of the Village of Tequesta was held on Tuesday, October 14, 1975 at 7:5$ P.M., in the Village Hall. Present were Little, Jones, Campbell, Baron and Yoder. Also present were Robert Harp, Village Manager, Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village Attorney. Opening Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given by Vice-Mayor Jones. The Village Manager read a Resolution of the Village of Tequesta, establishing and adopting a Comprehensive development plan for the Village of Tequesta providing for amendments to the Comprehensive Development Plan in accordance with the provisions of special legislation requiring comprehensive planning by local governmental units in Palm Beach County. Jones moved, "that we . accept the Resolution as presented". The motion was adopted. The next item on the agenda was consideration of a developer sign permit for the Community Federal Savings building on Tequesta Drive and Seabrook Road. Campbell moved, "that we accept the recommendation of the Sign Committee (the Sign Committee recommended approval by Council)". The motion was adopted. The Village Manager reviewed the bids that we submitted for two (2) police cars. Campbell moved, "that we accept the recommendation of the Village Manager and Police Chief for Dick McCulley Ford in the amount of $7,390.00". The motion was adoption.
