MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA
June 15, 1976
A Special Council Meeting of the Village of Tequesta,
was held on Tuesday, June 15, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. in the
Village Hall. Present were Baron, Brown, Campbell, Huggins
and Yoder. Also present were Robert Harp, Village Manager,
Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village
Attorney. Opening Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag was by Vice Mayor Brown. Yoder moved, "to adjourn at
11:00 P.M.". The motion was adopted.
The Village Attorney reviewed briefly the agreement
for purchase and leaseback of the Fire Substation site on
Seabrook Road. The Village Attorney felt there were a few
changes that could be made to the agreement. Baron moved,
ttto accept the terms of the agreement subject to the approval
of the final draft by the Village AttorneyT'. The motion was
adopted.
• Council reviewed the first draft of an agreement between
the Village of Tequesta and Tri-Southern Utilities Company,
Inc. for bulk water service. Mr. Howard Osterman, Tri-
Southern Utilities Company, Inc. reviewed with Council the
draft. There were several changes made to the draft by
Council including parts of the draft where the Loxahatchee
River Environmental Control District (ENCON) was mentioned.
Council asked that the Loxahatchee River Environmental Control
District be eliminated from the agreement. Council showed
concern over the total amount Tri-Southern Utilities shall
be obligated to provide. Council instructed the Village
Attorney to have the agreement revised with the changes they
rery~~ested and have it ready for their review at the June 22,
1976 Council meeting.
Council tabled items 4 - 9 until the June 22, 1976
Council meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
