MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA
August 10, 1976
A Council Meeting of the Village of Tequesta was held
on Tuesday, August 10, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. in the Village
Hall. Present were Baron, Brown, Campbell, Huggins and
Yoder. Also present were Robert Harp, Village Manager,
Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and Jahn C. Randolph, Village
Attorney. Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
was given by Mayor Campbell. The agenda was approved.
Mayor Campbell .made several announcements and told of the
Workshop followrig the Council Meeting. The minutes
of June 29, 1976 Special Council Meeting, Minutes of July
13, 1976 Council Meeting and Village Manager's Report
for July 25, 1976 through August 6,.1976 were received.
There was input from Mr. John Giba, re: work on
Tequesta Drive.
• The Village Attorney gave second reading by, title only,
of an Ordinance restricting the parking of recreational
vehicles. There was a lot of input from the public, most
of them in opposition to the Ordinance. Council instructed
the Village Attarney to have the amended Ordinance ready
for first reading at the August 21~, 1976 Council Meeting.
Huggins moved, "for adoption of this Ordinance". Vote on
the motion was:
Baron -Against
Brown -Against.
Campbell -Against
Huggins -Against
Yoder -Against
the motion was therefore defeated.
The Village Manager gave second reading, by title only,
of an Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, amending
Ordinance No. 225 to provide for the deletion of Section 2
and 3 thereof and providing that the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be retroactive to all permits issued under

the terms or Ordinance No. 225 since January 14, 1975• Huggins
moved, "the Ordinance be enacted?'. The motion was passed
s.~aith Campbell opposing the motion. Therefore Ordinance No. 23$
• i-aas adorted on second reading.
The meeting was adjourned t 10:25 .M.
