Present here Little, Jones, Leone, Car~.~bell and. Taylor. A1.so present ~~~ere 'Robert Harr, Vi1J_a~;e Manager, Cyrese Colbert, Vi1_lage Clerk and John. C. Randolph, Village Attorney. The meeting was opened Faith Prayer and Plpdae of_ Allegiance to the Flag by Councilman Leone. The minutes of the January 2£3, 1975 Counci)_ meeting were approved as corrected.. The minutes of the February 11, 1975 Council meeting were approved. The minutes of the February 17, 1975, Special Council meefi.ing were approved as corrected. Amendments o_f the January 14~, 1975 Council meeting, page 2.1, paragraph 3, to read: the motion was ai?proved, therefore Resolution No. 5-7/75 was adopted. on first reading, were approved. Howard Bro~nm, ?'res~,dent of the Country Club 7 Bunker ['1, Comm~zr.aty Association, asked tJ~e Village to continue the upJ--yep of the right-of-wa,T outside the entrance gates i.n.t^ the Country Club Comrhunity. John Gi_ba 7~ Fair~ri_eTn~ E. John Giba, President of the ~ Tenuesta Voters & Tax Pagers Association informed the Council that the water. scr.ed_ul_e in the Fairview East section was not being adhered to. Mr. Gi_ba had sevsral. suggestions on ways to in~'orm the Village residents of the serious water nrob]_ems. Karl. Baarsl_ag: Karl Baarslag informed Council of the noise pollution 371 RivPrsa.dP nrnblem on his street and. asked Council to check into it. -29- 2-25-75 -2 Campbell moved, 1"to award n~rtcIntosh Paving the bid for the construction of t~,io (2) tennis courts in Teouesta Park for the cost of ~1?,300.OO~v. The Village n~"anager read a Resolution of Commendation for the Palm Beach-Martin County Medical Center. Taylor moved, "the Resolution be approved.' After some discussion Taylor moved, r~to table his motion until the Resolution was amendedp' . Jones moved, 'the Village give C.O.G, a contribution in the amount of X2,930.00 for the fiscal year October 1, 1974 to Selatember 30, 1975". Leone told tine Council that an ad should be placed in the paper reminding people of the water problem and what the Village is doing to resolve the problem. The Village NTanager informed the Council and the reople that the Water Department was going to start Flushing the lines. Z^3lter Skinner A2r. Taylor moved, '"that the additional amount of $2,000.00 for the drainage improvements on the south-side of_ Te~uesta Drive, as explained in the Village N?anager's February 21~, 1975 memorandum, be approved-. The motion was adonted. Taylor moved, 4~that the additional amount of ~~1,600.00 for slain, poly filter X for drainage improvements in the TTillage, as exr..lained in the Village Manager's February 2!, 1975 memorandum, be approved. The motion was adopted. Leone moved, 'that P'ir. Alvin W. Butterfield be arpointed to the Technical Advisory Committee and Mr. Roger W. Fulling be ap~?ointed to the Citizen Action Committee to represent the Vi llage. ~' The motion T~Tas adopted. Leone moved, ~~that ?'~ildred E. Graeff, Mary W. Elliott, Ethel M. Reaney, Ruth A. The motion Teas adopted.. Randolph gave first reading of an Ordinance amending the Charter of the Vi1J_age of Teauesta in reference to having to own nropert.y within the Village for one (1) year. Campbell moved, 'rto adopt the Ordinance to elimate the remzirment of owning property within the Village for one (1) gear bef ore a person could run for o.f_ fice in the Village".
