MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP~'M~TIIVG OF THE COUNCIL OF THE YILLAG~ OF T~QUEST A, FLORIDA SEPTflKBIIt 17 1974 The Council of the Yillage of Tequesta held a Workshop Meeting at 7:00 F.M., Tuesday, September 17, 1974 in the Yillage Hall. Councilmembers present were: Little, Jones, Campbell, Tayl©r and Leone, Also present was Robert Harp, Yillage Manager, Mayer Little advised that the meeting had been set to discuss comprehensive pTa:~uting for the Yillage of Tequesta as now required and to advise the Area Plana~aaag Board of Pa:~ Beach County who the Yillage will have do its platn~irid. 'Phis determination must be made by October 1, 1974 with the planning to be complete by October 1, 19?5. The Yillage Manager referred to his memorandum of September 17, 1974 advising the Yillage Council that the Area Planning Board had reviewed the Barr, Dunlap and Associates Comprehensive Pian which had been submitted to the Yillage in October 1971 and advising they could bring it up to date to reset the requirements at a cost of $500. - 700. with an absolute top cost of $1,000.0Q. The Barr, Dunlap Comprehensive Plan was discussed as was the existing Zoning Ordinance. The Council asked the Yillage Manager to put the appointrgent of the Area Planning Board of Palm Beach Caunt~ as the Yilla~e~s planning agency on the September 24, 1974 Council Meeting Agenda. Also to be placed on the Agenda is the matter of disII-i:ss- ing the Zoning Review Cos~.ittee at this time since we are to have a -- planning agency develop and up-date our comprehensive plan. Mayor Little asked the Councilmembers about the hours of work ordinance which posed problems for some Yillage property owners who desire to do their own construction and work Monday through Saturday, leaving-only Sunday when they can do their own work .and this is prohibited by the ordinance. It was the general feeling of the Councilmembers that the terms of the ordinance arC proper. A general discussion ensued on the status of the. County bicycle path on Seabrook Road for which the Yillage was one of the first municipalities who agreed to contribute S0~ of the cost for the path inside the municipality. There was also concern expressed over the fact that the County Line Road portion of the path had been deleted from the County~s 1974/75 budget. The Yillage Manager was asked to see what information he could get on this matter and information on the County~s proposed Beach Acquisition Referendu~c- scheduled for November 5, 1974, at 9:00 P.M.
