COUNCILMEN OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA

g y ouncilmen of the, Village of
Tequesta, Florida at 7:45 P.M., Tuesday, November 25, 1969, at the Village
Hall. Councilmen present were: Messrs. Sylvester, Bowden, Cunningham,
Long and Simmons. Also present was P~obert Harp, Village Manager. and
Clerk and Guy Held representing the firm of hinters, Brackett and Lord
for Mr. Lord who was unable to attend the F-Yea ring.
The Village Clerk read the Published notice of hearing which
stated the hearing had been called to consider amending the Officia 1
Zoning Ordinance of the Village, Ordinance No. 43, creating a new classi-
fication designated C-3 for the erection of a community antenna, television
antenna tower and to consider the request of Palm Beach Cable Television
Company and the Village of Tequesta for the C-3 zoning classification for
their properties as described in the notice. All property owners within
500 feet had been advised of the hearing by letter and no correspondence
either for or against the requests had been received. Mr. b•Mrs. Pt. F.
~'ahite, owners of property within 500 feet attended the hearing and-had
several questions answered by Mr. Gilchrest of Palm Beach Cable Tele-
vision Company and the Council. ~~'hey did not object to the zoning classi-
fication.
Bowden moved, second by Cunningham that the Official Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta be amended to provide a C-3 classi-
fication for the erection of a con~nunity antenna television tower and
• other appertenant uses. The vote on the motion was:
Bowden - For the Motion
Cunningham - For the Motion
Sylvester - For the Motion
Long - For the Motion
Simmons - For the Motion
and the motion was unanimously passed.
Cunningham moved, second b;~T Bowden that the property owned by

cribed in the Notice of Public Hearing be zoned C-3 classification. The
vote on the motion was:

and the motion was unanimously passed.
