HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_Special Meeting_05/19/1970MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING OF THE COUNCILMEN OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FIARIDA A Public Hearing was held by the Councilmen of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, at 7:45 P.M., Tuesday, May 19, 1970, at the Vi1la.ge Nall. 'Councilmen present were: Messrs. Sylvester, Long, Cunningham, Russell and Barr. Also present were Robert Harp, Village Clerk and William A. Lord, Village Attorney. Mayor Sylvester advised that the Hearing was being held to determine a zoning classification for properties owned by Louise F. Robinson, Thomas P. Robinson and Walter F. and Janet M. Lathrop, which had been annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta upon petition of the owners at the April Council meeting. The Village Clerk advised the Hearing that notice of the hearing had been published in the Beacon News, April 30, 1970, and letters advising of the hearing had been sent to all property owners whose property is located within 500 feet of the subject property. Cunningham moved, second by Long that the following parcels of land be zoned R-lA Single Family Dwelling District and the zoning map amended accordingly: 1. Two parcels of land in Lot 7, Block D, Jupiter Manors, Section One, on Point Drive (owner: Louise F. Robinson). 2. A parcel of land in Lots 7 and 8, Block D, Jupiter Manors, Section One, on Point Drive (owner. Thomas P. Robinson). 3. Lot 10, Block D, Jupiter Manors, Section One, on Point Drive (owners: Wa lter F. and Janet M. Lathrop). The vote on the motion was: Long - For Cunningham - For Sylvester - For Russell - For Barr - For and was therefore passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
