You will recall at the October 21, 1969, regular Council meeting,
a Special Council Meeting was called for 7:30 P. M., Friday, October 31,
1969, (Halloween Nite) at the Pillage Hall, for the consideration of the
following items:
1. Reading and acting upon an ordinance annexing the fifteen (15)
acre well field site to the territorial ~ m;ts of the Village
of Tequesta.
a) Deed dated and delivered October 30, 1969 to Palm Beach
Cable Television Company for ten (10) acres of the well
field site.
b) Petition received from PaLn Beach Cable Television Co~npa.ny
requesting annexation of their ten (10) acre tract to the
territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta.
2. Discussion of Pension Trust Agreement which was deferred from
last Council meeting. Mr. William ~dsworth expects to be at
the meeting'to discuss the agreement with the Cciuncil (a copy
of the agreement was given to each Councilman).
3. Discussion of possible amendments to the Village Zoning Ordinances
• a) To provide for sale of gasoline only on U. S. Highway No. 1.
b) Clarification of definition of serrice statifln and filling
station.
The Pillage Attorney, William A. Lord, advises that it will be
necessary for the Council to hold another public hearing, which will
necessitate re-advertising by legal notice in the Beacon and letters t®
all property owners within 540 feet, in order to determine a zoning ela,ssi-
fica.tion for Lot 13, Block D, Jupiter Manors, and the S. S. ~ R., Incorporated
lying west of State Road 707 on Jupiter Island, which the Council did not
do following the public hearing held October 21, 1969. Village Ordinance
No. 82 provides that all properties annexed to the Village shall be zoned
R-1 until a public hearing shall be held within 120 days to determine the
zoning cla,ssifica,tion. The 12b day period will expire Januarq 13, l9?0.
