A Public Hearing was held by the Zcning Loard of Ad.j~x:t.nent at
8:00 P.M., Friday, July 25, 1969 at the ~1illage Hall, 35`7 Teques-ra Drive,
Tequesta, Florida, Board members present were: Messrs. Vier^~;, Good,
Shiplett and Gifford. Mr. Wc;bs;;er wa.s oat of tn;~n and cculd :zc; attend.
Also gresent was Robert tid,r-~, Clerk of t:ie Bc~ rc?-.
The Clerx advised the ~iea.riz_g •;;ra*_ tihE rers~ae;st far '.rye variance
had been received from the owner of Lot i3, Blor:k ~, C~:.~ritry C--~.~:b Yoint,
Mr. E. J. Traficante and that Mr. .'ohn H. tIapp, a Jil'aGe rPsid.ezt
intended to construct a home on the lot.
The Clerk advised the Brad t::at =.ega1 ncc-_:,e cf the Nearing
had been made in the Beacon News July i~3, i~ ~9 aa~i -::?~w. ~ all p~o?~erty
owners within 500 feet of the proposed va.r~~.;,x_ce 'r.~_c be~^ ac'vi ed r;f the
Hearing by letter and that no written or verbal comsner..ta had bFen received
either for or against the application.

A plot- plan snowing the proposed house on the lot was looked at by the
Board.
Mr. Glenn, ow~.?r of ilot 12, Block 4, Country Club Point, Mrs.
Nemetz, owner of Lot 1~, Block ~-, C~~antry Crab Point a:~d Mr. Hall,
presently having his rouse ,.oE:str•a-~4.~d across the caJ-de-sac from the
subject lot verbaly stated tY~ey had rio objet*ion. to the requested
variance.
There being no further discussion on the application, the
Board dismissed the audience in attendance and further aiscussed the
request...
Shiplett moved, second by Good, teat E. J. Traf~_~rante, owner
of Lot 13, Block 4, Country Club Point, 155 Gulf Stream Drive, he
granted a variance permitting a house to be constructer on said lot by
John H, Hupp with a front set back line of twenty feet (ZO') and a rear
set back line of fifteen feet (15~), instead of twenty-file feet (25~)
and twenty feet (20-), respectively, as required by the terms of the
Vi1la,ge Zoning Ordinance.

The vote on the motion ,vas as follows:

Good - For the motion

The variance was therefore branted by •unanimcus action of the Board.
The Board then discussed the a*~pl';.a*ion of Fotomat Corporation,
7100 N. Biscayne Boule.~,rd, 2~4iami, Flori~.a., to constr~~~^t a Photo Drop
Drive ~'hru on a port~.on :,f the Tequesta P1.a,za Pa.r~-rg Lot near the east
entrance to the Park?.:~g Area cn TequESta Dri-Te. S~:cn construe.*,ion being
a non-dwelling s*rucc;ure, the site plan mt.st be su'orni';te3 to tze Zoning
Eoard of Adjustment for review and apvrc-rdl before a pPr!r-it for construction
is granted as stated in Item 6, Section 9, General F~ ~~vi.sions of the
Zoning 0 rdin:~! uce .
The Board looked at a Post Card picture of the proposed building
and a plot plan of Tequesta Plaza ~~:owing the proposed location of the
building thirty-three feet four inches (33' 4") south of the South Right
of way line of Tequesta Drive and approximately in a direct line with the
wept Walk-Up Teller Building of the Jupiter•/mequ~sta Bank. It was the
general feeling of the Eoard that the pro,~osed builri~:g was not aesthetically
compatable with the general area requiremant,~ and *aze pla.cemert of the
structure on the site sitting out front a.~. ;~~T .r:s•:=-f was pct ~,ec~ptabie
to the Board.
Good moved, second by Gifford that the application of Fotomat
Corporation, 7100 N. Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida, be denied for the
reason that the proposed structure ~,ras not aesthetically computable with
the general area requiremeizts and the proposed location on the site,
sitting out front by itself was not acceptable to the Board.

the motion was unanimously passed and the application was denied.
