Shiplett both agreed to be reappointed to ~' Zoning Board of Adjustment for three (3) year teen commencing ~,. January 1, 1969. 2. Recommend purchase of station wagon for Jim Worth, Water Department Superintendent and would like Council's approval for chase to be / made from renewal and replacement budget for 1969. r 3. Capital Budget for 1969. ~ ~ ~ 4. Acceptance of auditor's report for fiscal year ended 9-30-68. /~ 5. Authorize engineers to proceed with work necessary to tie new well into system on County Line Road west of railroad tracks (include in Capital Budget) . 6. Test well has been drilled and qua lity of water is very good. The well is being pumped off today for GPM test. //~ 7. DUSENBERY CHIEF OF POLICE The Police Department during the n-onth of November instituted or investigated 147 complaints ranging from personal assists to two arrests for shoplifting which were processed through Municipal Court. Police vehicles traveled a total of 6464 miles using 745.1 ga llons of gas and six quarts of oil. Other police agencies were assisted by request 24 times. Police desk message center handled 513 incoming phone ca lls plus normal radio dispatch and teletype service for Tequesta, Juno Beach and North County First Aid Squad. Five minor motor vehicle accidents investigated with no personal ii. j cries . • ~~n Thursday, November 21, the Chief and Officers Sylvester t~i1 ~part;n~an attended a day long demonstration of arson devices and r,~.licious use of explosives put on by the State Fire Marsha 1's office at the State Road and Prison Camp in Florida City. The Police Department through cooperation of the Sheriff's Office is making good progress on the potential drug problem with the you~tger element in the north county area. There were no major crimes reported or investigated in the Village during the month of November. Attached to this report is a breakdown of police activities for the month of November, 1968.
