DUSENBERY CHIEF OF POLICE The Police Department during the month of December, 1967 instituted or investigated one hundred twenty complaints ranging from assisting stalled motorists to one case of breaking and entering. Police vehicles traveled a total of 6,344 miles using 699.4 gallons of gas and four quarts of oil. Police desk message service for Juno Beach Police Department processed fifty-two calls plus normal radio traffic. Tequesta Police Officers assisted other police agencies thir- teen times this month in instances ranging from investigations to juvenile problems. Seven minor motor vehicle accidents were investigated, no • personal injuries. The Christmas holiday season has resulted in an increase in vandalism complaints. These are being actively investigated, several suspects in question. Delivery of 1968 Plymouth police ca,r was received and imme- diately put into service. Civil Defense Director attended Civil Defense Management Course at South Florida Civil Defense Headquarters at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Tuesday through Friday, December 5th through 8th, 1967. This was in intensive study course instructed and planned by Florida State University. Mid term and final written examinations completed and passed and Certificate of Proficiency received. Next Staff Meeting of Tequesta Civil Defense group will be held on January 29, 1968 at 8:00 P.M, at Tequesta Village Hall. ~~ Henry M.
