After going out for formal bids (see spec sheet}r Shan Twf Care was the only sealed bid received on Octc~- 21, 2005_ The Village Clerk sent out a formal invitation to the Palm Beach Post, and the Bids were open on 10!21/O5. Please place this item on the November 2005 Village Council agenda for the Council members' consideration. Attachments: l . Sheehan Turf Care, Inc. bid RESOLUTION NO. 18-05/06 • • • A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID PROPOSAL TO SHEEHAN TURF CARE, INC., OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,080 FOR TEQUESTA PARK FROM BUDGETED ACCOUNT #001-230 546.306 AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPLICABLE PROPOSAL ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Consideration to award a bid proposal to Sheehan Turf Care, Inc., of Tequesta, Florida, in the amount of $25,080 for the Tequesta Park, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as a part of this Resolution is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the Village. SERVICES TO BE RENDERED AS PART OF THE MONTHLY SERVICE: A. MOWING:. Weekly mowing of fields, frequency is determined by seasonal variations. Minimum 52 cuts. B. EDGING: All infreld and warning track areas will be mechanically and/or chemically treated once a month.. C. FERTILIZATION: Sheehan Turf Care will fertilize all turf as follows. a. Monthly checks on all irrigation on ball fields. b. Spring and fall application of Dylox for control of grubs and mole crickets. c. Every 3 months application of 19-0-19 Pre-M.(VVeed control) d. Applications will be made quarterly 10-4-20 D. PEST CONTROL: Sheehan Tun` Care will perform weekly checks for pest in all turf areas with control methods to follow if present. The services in the service agreement to be provided for a monthly fee of $ 2,280.00. Yearly $27,360 ADDITIONAL SERVICES If requested, the following services will be performed and billed on a "time and materials" basis: A. Verticutfing 8. Topdressing C. Aerification D. Overseeding
