DUSENBERY CHIEF OF POLICE During the month cif' June, 1968, police vehicles traveled a total of 6,173 miles using 689.9 gallons of gas and six quarts of oil. One hundred and nine complaints were instigated or inves- tigated ranging from thirty cases of assisting persons in difficul- ties to one case of Breaking and Entering and one case of I~rceny. Palm Beach Sheriff Office is assisting in these felony cases. Forty-three instances of unsecured homes or businesses found by patrol officers on home and business checks. Other area police agencies were assisted thirteen times. • Police desk message service for Juno Beach Police Depart- ment handled thirty-seven complaints plus normal radio dispatch ser- vice. Sgt. John Roderick was in charge of the Police Department from June 17th to July 7th while the Chief was on vacation. Month of June reflected vacation period of schools and residents in the increase of persons assisted and unsecured homes instances.
