A discussion of the various entrance gates and their mainten-
ance was held. Councilman Cornelius stated he could not see why there
• should be any objection to the Village maintaining the entrances to the
Country Club Community because at the time the Village was incorporated
in 1957, the Village consisted of only the Country Club Community. He
further stated that the developer had installed the original plantings
at the main gate with subsequent plantings at both entrances being paid
for by the Country Club Community Association. He also stated that
several years ago the Village had paid $?,000. for royal palm trees to be
planted the full length of Tequesta Drive. Developers and other interested
parties paid the balance of approximately $14,000. for this project. He
advised that the Village has always maintained the entrance at U, S.
