DUSENBERY CHIEF OF POLICE During the month of November, 1966 the Police Department investigated or instituted eighty-nine complaints. Police vehicles traveled a total of 5,079 miles using 506 gallons of gas and six quarts of oil. There were no felonies or major crimes reported or inves- tigated this month. Activities have consisted of assisting persons with problems ranging from frogs in bathrooms to alledged wildcats in garbage pails. Other police agencies were assisted by request in nine separate instances. There were four arrests for minor traffic viola- tions. No motor vehicle accidents reported this month. Upon receiving approval of Village Council, the Chief has met with the Chief of Police of Juno Beach regards providing message service for that Department. This service will start on December 8, 1966. • Soliciting Permit No. 8 has been issued to the Jupiter- Tequesta Community Fund. This campaign will be in two parts. Business houses to be solicited in December and residentia 1 areas in February. Chairmen of both divisions have registered and all solicitors will carry Jupiter-Tequesta Community Fund I.D. Cards. The new Plymouth Patrol Car was delivered on/~®tober 23rd and immediately put into service. Attached to this report is a complete breakdown of Police activities for the month. It was decided by unanimous vote to cancel the scheduled December 26th Meeting because of confliction with the holidays. The next scheduled Meeting of the Civil Defense Group will be at 7:30 P.M. on January 30, 1967. It is hoped that the group will be able to inspect the South Florida Civil Defense Headquarters in Johnathan Dickinson State Park at this time. Transportation will be furnished from Tequesta Village Hall and return. Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M. `a J Henry M.
