• Requests the Palm Beach Counn Supervisor of Elections conduct the elecrion, designates

will be appointed in January if needed).
• Sets forth the rate of pay for poll workers. "I'he current rate of pay has been in effect at the
Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elecrions Office since 2008, with no increase. Elecuon
Da is long and arduous with some workers working as long as 1 hours straight It is
difficult to find poll workers who will work due to the long dav and low pay. I intend to
increase the Village's rate of pa 10% (Ex. A). I completed an analysis on the number of
poll workers at each precinct compared to the number of-oters, and tritnining the staffing
le-e1 b four workers will have no adverse effect. These changes will result in an overall
poll worker pay savings of$395 even with the pay rate increase.
