(Amount budgeted for this purchase - $7,200.00) This purchase is being submitted as a `sole source' request. lnternational Police Technologies, tnc. is the only manufacturer of in-car video systems using removable Sony HandyCams. This purchase will continue our practice of standardization of all equipment installed in our patrol cars. i � � i � � I RESOLUTION NO. 19 - O1/02 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OE TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM INTERNATIONAL POLICE TECHNOLOGIES, OF TULSA, OKLAHOMA, FOR TWO POWER CAM IN-CAR VIDEO SYSTEMS IN THE AMOUNT OF ' $6,664 .00 HAVING A FY 2001/2002 GENERAL FUND POLICE DEPA�2TMENT BUDGET ALLOCATION OF $7,200.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE .APPLICABLE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE VILLP.GE . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . The Power Cam in-car video system proposal from International Police Technologies, Inc. , of Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the amount of $6, 664 . 00, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorpo-rated by reference as a part af this Resolution, is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized ta execute the same on behalf of the Village of Tequesta. � � THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY Councilmember � , who moved its adoption. Total purchase price $ 6, 664.00. (Price Quotation attached) The above purchase to k�e made from International Police Technologies, Inc., P.O.Box472131, Tulsa, Ok. 74147. The above recording systems are the same as presently installed in police vehicles. ( cannot provide any other price quotations, as this company is tk�e only one who provides the type �f system, which can be used outside of the vehicle.
