The entire house as existin�is 7.15 . A hardship�vould occur if the kitchen would be required to have a step up of over 1.35 feet. The house was built in the 1950's induding the gara�e area.To be renovated, therefore I have not altered or effected the floor elevation. The variance wi11 not conFer an special privilege .As the floor height is 7.]5 has been in existence for over 40 years and no chan�es will take place. The house was constructed prior to elevation reyuirement and literal interpretation of the ordinance would create undo hardship. As we would have a kitchen of 1.35 above all other areas of the house. Since the entire house was built at 7.15. No other variance would be apPlicabie.Therefore this is the minimum variance. The variance will be in harmony because the floor finish of 7.15 exists currently and has for 40 years and still above the FEMA Flood elevation.
