Weinand, Acting Villa�e Manager ;� � � From: Gus Medina, Chief of Poli��'(� 1 �' Date: January 30, 2019 Subject: Manatee Grant (Increasing Contract Funds) The attached agenda item addresses the need to increase revenues and expenditures in the General Fund #001 2018/2019 Budget in the amount of$2,975.00 recognizing additional revenues from Palm Beach County for manatee patrol services as well as recognizing related overtime expenditures. The Village currently has a contract with Palm Beach County to provide manatee patrol services in the amount of$16,660.00; and Palm Beach County is increasing their contract with the Village of Tequesta for an additional $2,975.00; and the Village incurs overtime expenditures for the manatee patrol services; On behalf of the Village Manager and staff, this agenda item is submitted for your review and consideration. WHEREAS, the Village currently has a contract with Palm Beach County to provide manatee patrol services in the amount of$16,660.00; and, WHEREAS, Palm Beach County is increasing their contract with the Village of Tequesta for an additional $2,975.00; and, WHEREAS, the Village incurs overtime expenditures for the manatee patrol services; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY,FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. OS-19 is hereby approved increasing revenues and expenditures in the General Fund#001 2018/2019 Budget in the amount of$2,975.00 recognizing additional revenues from Palm Beach County for manatee patrol services as well as recognizing related overtime expenditures. Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
