157 and Chapter 14, Article II, Section 14-32 subsection 105.1 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Vllage of Tequesta.

The Special Magistrate appointed by the Village Council to hear code compliance cases
for the Village of Tequesta, in accordance with Chapter 162,Florida Statutes, heard testimony at
the Code Compliance Special Magistrate Hearing held on the 12th day of March, 2019. Based on
the evidence and testimony presented, the following Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and
Order Finding Violation are hereby entered:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. Respondents are the owners of the above-described property.
2. Respondents were not present at the hearing; however, there was a finding of proper
notice.
3. Code Enforcement Officer Michael Filipkowski provided testimony and evidence of the
violation, as contained in the Village's evidentiary case file which was accepted into
evidence.
4. As of the hearing on March 12, 2019, based on testimony presented by the code
enforcement officer, the property was in compliance with Sections 14-152, 14-157 and
1432 subsection 105.1 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta, but had not
achieved compliance within the time specified in the Notice of Violation.

The above-stated facts constitute a violation of Sections 14-152, 14-157 and 1432
subsection 105.1 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
ORDER
Respondents are hereby ordered to continue to comply with Sections 14-152, 14-157 and
1432 subsection 105.1 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Respondents are assessed $199.46 for administrative costs incurred by the Village prior
to March l2, 2019 hearing.
Should you violate the same Section of the Code again, you may be subject to a fine of
up to Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day for such repeat violation. Additionally, the Code
Inspector is not required to give a reasonable time to coi7�ect the repeat violation and the case
may be presented to the Special Magistrate even if the repeat violation has been corrected prior
to the Special Magistrate hearing.
Upon complying in any code compliance matter, it is always the responsibility of the
Respondents to contact tbe Code Compliance Division at (561) 768-0519 to request a
reinspection of the property.
