Present were Village Manager Michael Gouzzo, Mr. Creg Gorbitt, Mr. Frank D'Ambra, and Rick Gonzalez of REG Architecs, There was an audio failure which rendered only a partial recc�rding. Mr. Gonzalez, REG Architects, s�bmitted renderings a�d discussed plan�far the propased Cammunity Center. An indoor walking track, multiple flaors, a gymnasium, activity classrooms and sfiaff offices were described. A multi-purpose hall was suggested as other municipalities had recer�tly buiEt. Attorr�ey Davis stated that the Village was now in the Communifiy Center Negatiatic�n Analysis process. They had now moved into the competitive negotiation piece of fihe process. It was to be a #air, competitive and reasonabl� process and would include an analysis of the cost af services and scope and complexity of the project. There could be na contingent fees built into the contract per State Statute. A standard contract would be used. A timeli�e which incltaded input fram fihe Village Council was par� af stage one, with planning and zaning ne�ct, follc�wed �y schematic design, landscaping �esign, development and construction documents, bi weekfy meetings, engineering reviews, bid advertisements, cantractor resources, constructiorr management, interior design, insurance, and furniture. Generatar pawer was discussed for emergency situations. Mana�er Gauzzo asked far stag� one to be presented to Gc�uncil soon. Manager Co�zzo felt that construction management was nc�t necessary and Village �fiaff was alsa able �o do site deveEapment work internally, as the savings were considerable. Utility and purchasing warl�was also able to be managed internally. It was suggested thaf Council receive the renderings before the�apcoming Cc�uncil Meeting this week. A package price af $35,000 far phase c�ne, which included three meetings, cor�cepfival design, canceptual site plan, renderings, floorplans, and schedule was agreed upon.
