We sell real estate. We took some of our out of state clients from California today into the Community Center with hopes to learn more about the new expansion. Mr Corbitt was generous with his time explaining the plans. My clients are so excited about it and its one of the motivators for them to choose Tequesta over Jupiter. My wife Kate and I are really blown away with the project and believe greatly that it will add value to our real estate in Tequesta. Being able to walk or bike ride to this new Community Center is MAJOR added value. Thank you for all you do. We are super excited about how this will impact our lifestyle in a positive way but also how it will increase our property values as we truly believe it will increase property values. Have a great weekend. Campers on not allowed to sit on staff, lie on staff, or lean on staff: ALA AA ek Ilk Separation of age groUps While we try to keep the age groups separated, there may be times that they are not. We understand that children develop differently in the areas of physical, social, emotional, and intellectual characteristics. This is the very reason that we have age groups set up the way that they are and we try to keep them separated. However, during field trips where they use the charter bus and times during the day that they are in the park, as well as tunes during the day when the number of campers is low -they will be combined or in the least, around children of different ages. All children enrolled in the camp are expected to follow the rules of the camp and the direction of the camp staff. Discipline actions are as follows: 1. Verbal warning by staff 2. Time out/removal from activity 3. Behavior letter to parent/guardian in the form of a "pink slip" 4. Phone call to schedule a conference with the parent 5. Suspension with the duration being left to the discretion of the camp director 6. Dismissal from camp The staff recognizes the need for positive reinforcement and an awards system is in place for good behavior. During camp hours, the children may have days that they watch a movie at the rec center. All movies shown are G, PG, or PG- 13 rated. All movie titles are on the camp calendar or the dry erase board. If you don't want your child to watch a particular move that is shown rat the rec, arrangements can be made for the child to do another activity. Please inform the camp director as soon as possible if you would like for your child to be offered another activity on a certain movie day. The camp also goes to the local movie theater to watch movies. Some of the movies shown at the theatre are PG-13. It is the parent's responsibility to inform the camp director or Recreation Supervisor if the parent does not want the camper to attend and other accommodations will be made for the camper. Please view the camp calendar for movie titles for field trips. SnacKs Snacks are not provided. However, it is recommended that each child bring something for an afternoon snack.
