Subject: Allocation of FY2018 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Funds
This letter is approving FY2018 JAG funds to be allocated for two existing countywide
programs: Countywide Reentry Program and PaImFUSE.
Countywide Reentry Program provides transitional services for adults and juveniles
release from jail and prison in Palm Beach County
PaImFUSE Program breaks the cycle of incarceration and homelessness among
individuals, with complex behavioral health challenges. These individuals are the
highest users of jail, homeless shelters, hospita!s, and other crisis system services.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) requires fifty-one percent of the
local units of government representing at least fifty-one percent of the county's
population agree on the allocation of these funds.
