Budget in the Amount of $40,000.00
Resolution 19-19 increasing revenues and expenditures in the General Fund #001 2018/2019 Budget
in the amount of $40,000.00 recognizing fines received from a foreclosure on Cypress Drive as well
as the related expenditures incurred.

amount of $40,000.00.

RESOLUTION NO. 19-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, INCREASING REVENUES AND
EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND #0012018/2019 BUDGET IN
THE AMOUNT OF $40,000.00 RECOGNIZING FINES RECEIVED FROM
A FORECLOSURE ON CYPRESS DRIVE, AS WELL AS RECOGNIZING
RELATED EXPENDITURES AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO PROCEED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S
ADOPTED PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
N�`HEREAS, the Village received revenues from a foreclosure on Cypress Drive in the
amount of $40,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Village incur -red expenditures in the amount of $8,467.00 relating to
this foreclosure; and,
WHEREAS, the Village is allocating the remaining amount of $31,533.00 to fund
balance; and,
WHEREAS, the following accounts will be increased:
Revenues
Code Enforcement Fines & Court Costs, 001-181-354.102, $40,000.00
Expenditures
Legal Services, 001-181-531.301, $6,848.00
Code Enforcement Services, 001-181-531.320, $1,619.00
Allocate to Fund Balance, 001-950-590.001, $31,533.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 Resolution No. 19-19 is hereby approved increasing revenues and
expenditures in the General Fund #001 2018/2019 Budget in the amount of $40,000.00
recognizing fines received from a foreclosure on Cypress Drive as well as the related
expenditures incurred;
Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
