V. NEW BUSINESS
An application from Carol & Larry Wright, owners of the property located at 11 DeWitt Place, Lots 2 &
3, Noit Gedacht Subdivision and Lot 1, Noit Gedacht Subdivision, requesting a variance to the terms of
the Official Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, Ordinance No. 355, as
amended, Section X, Supplemental Regulations Applying to a Specific, to Several or to All Districts,
Subsection (A), General Provisions, Paragraph (1)(c), Walls and Fences, to allow the construction of 100
foot of knee wall with wrought iron fence, lighted entry columns and one seven (7) foot high electrically
operated access gate located approximately 18' feet inside the front property line, in lieu of no wall or
fence being permitted to extend forward of the building front on any lot or parcel, as required by the
Zoning Ordinance.

C. Testimony of Witnesses and Cross Examination, if any.
D. Finding of Fact Based Upon Competent Substantial Evidence.
2. An application from Marina Pikas, owner of the property located at 364 Church Road, Lot 5, Block 32,
Jupiter in the Pines Sec. B Subdivision, requesting a variance to the terms of the Official Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, Ordinance No. 355, as amended, Section X, Supplemental
Regulations Applying to a Specific, To Several or to all Districts, Subsection (A), General Provisions, (8)
Floor elevation above sea level; to allow an existing covered porch to be enclosed to living area to match
the existing house floor elevation of 7.3' MSL, in lieu of all new construction, additions, and substantial
improvements to existing s' -uctures being 8.5' MSL or 18" above the crown of the road, cul-de-sac or
highway or meet the requirements of Section XV, Flood Hazard Areas, whichever is more stringent.

An application from Mr. & Mrs. Charles Nelson, owners of the property located at 18978 Point Drive,
Property Control No. 60-42-40-36-00-003-0063, requesting a variance to the terms of the Official
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, Ordinance No. 355, as amended, Section
X, Supplemental Regulations Applying to a Specific, to Several or to All Districts, Subsection (A),
General Provisions, Paragraph (1)(c), Walls and Fences, to allow the construction of a driveway entrance
feature consisting of two 30' long, 4' to 6' high curved walls with columns located approximately ten feet
inside the front property line, in lieu of no wall or fence being permitted to extend forward of the building
front on any lot or parcel, as required by the Zoning Ordinance.

B. Disclosure of Ex -Parte Communications.
C. Testimony of Witnesses and Cross Examination, if any.
D. Finding of Fact Based Upon Competent Substantial Evidence.
4. An application from Philip Cary, owner of the property located at 129 Point Circle, Lot 35.2, Tequesta
Subdivision, requesting a variance to the terms of the Official Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Tequesta, Ordinance No. 355, as amended, Section XVI, Uniform Waterway Control,
Subsection (B), Dock and Pier Length, Width and Configuration, Paragraph (1), to allow the construction
of a 110 foot boat dock with a 6' X 20' terminal platform, in lieu of no dock or pier being constructed
which extends waterward from the mean high water line in excess of seventy-five (75) feet, as required by
the Code.
