III. BACKGROUND
The existing fuel station (7-Eleven) is proposing to upgrade its facility signage program. The
proposed improvement does not increase lot coverage or footprint of the existing gasoline
station. The applicant has provided elevations, surveys and other associated drawings, to
highlights proposed modifications, please see attached application.
IV. STAFF ANALYSIS
The applicant is requesting a site plan modification to install the following signs: (see the
below graphics)
• Four (4) Red non -illuminated aperture ("Wave') with a total of four (4) poster signs on
front and back.
• Five (5) Red non -illuminated ("Blades") signs
• Five (5) Red non -illuminated plaque ("Koala") with two (2) poster signs
• Ten (10) ) Red non illuminated pump identification numbers
In addition, 7 Eleven would like to install two (2) directional signs at the entrance and exit of
their existing car wash facility.

FINAL. REMARKS
This development application met the requirements set on Section 78-334 notice of hearing.
The notice of hearing was published on August 5, 2019.

IV. APPLICATION FEES
(1) Review by the Planning and Zoning Board. The Community Development Director or designee shall submit
such application for Planning and Zoning Board review within 45 days of receipt of a completed application.
Fee: A) $300.00 (final approval) OR B) $500.00 (recommendation to Village Council)
(2) Review by Village Council. Within 45 days of review by the Planning and Zoning Board, the Community
Development Director or designee shall then submit such application, including the recommendations of the
Planning and Zoning Board, for Village Council review.
Fee: a $300.00 fee plus an additional fee based on the estimated cost of work applies.
To cover all additional administrative costs, actual or anticipated, including, but not limited to, engineering fees,
consultant fees and special studies, the applicant shall compensate the village for all such costs prior to the processing of
the application or not later than 30 days after final application approval whichever is determined as appropriate by the
village. Failure to make such payment may be grounds for not issuing a building or zoning permit, certificate of occupancy
or completion.
Costs associated with advertising for public hearings and other public notice requirements are the responsibility of the
applicant. The fee shall be paid prior to such application being scheduled for a public hearing requiring notice.

To Whom It May Concern:
This request is to respectfully ask for the Synergy scope to be permitted at the above referenced
location. The Synergy scope is as follows:
Wave — Red non -illuminated aperture that will be installed next to the first gas entrance island to
show the direction of traffic flow. Qua 4 — one at each entrance to the pump islands.
Blade — Red non -illuminated blade signs that will be installed over each pump displaying the
"Synergy' name and logo for brand recognition, so the client knows that they are obtaining the
highest fuel quality. Qua : 5 — one over each gas pump.
12pla — Red non -illuminated plaque allowing for fuel grade quality information and Synergy
notifications. Qua : -A — one on each gas pump canopy column
Pump Numbers — Red non -illuminated pump numbers so the customer is aware of what pump
they are using. Quantity: 10 — one at each gas pump.
