The Respondent(s) is/are the owner(s) for the above-described property. 2. The Respondent(s) was present and represented by Mr. William Beeches there was a finding of proper notice. 3. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer testified toand produced photos of the violation. 4. Mr. Beeche testified and acknowledged the existence of the violation as well as the Respondent's current efforts to achieve compliance. Page 1 of 2 • CONCLUSIONS OF LAW The above-stated facts constitute a violation of Chapter 30 Article II Section 30-33 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta. ORDER The Respondent(s) is hereby ordered to comply with Chapter 30 Article II Section 30-33 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.. A status hearing is hereby scheduled for February 26, -2009 at 10:00 am at the Village Hall Council Chambers, 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469. Should you violate the same Section of the Code again, you may be subject to a fine of up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day for such repeat violation. Additionally, the Code Officer is not required to give a reasonable time to correct the repeat violation and the case may be presented to the Special Magistrate even if the repeat violation has been corrected prior to the Special Magistrate hearing. Respondent(s) shall be assessed $353.27 for administrative costs to be paid immediately. Upon complying in any code compliance matter, it is always the responsibility of the Respondent(s) to contact the Code Compliance Division at (561) 575-3826 to request a reinspection of the property. Minutes from December not read or available due to the fact that TCCCA has no Secretary to take minutes. The first order of Business was to vote for the new Treasurer. William Beeche seconded S#even Vaughn's nomination of Larry Dugan to be TCCCA's new Treasurer.. A vote was called for and taken. All voted- in favor of the nominee and Larry Dugan was voted in as TCCCA`s new Treasurer. Treasurer's Report -Temporary Treasurer -William Beeche Due to the fact that the former Treasurer stepped down and we did not have a quorum to vote in a new Treasurer the President stepped up and assumed the responsibilities and reported as follows: The TCCCA took in about $7800.00 in dues from the mailing of the 2009 annual Dues letter, sent out in December of 2008, and from members that paid at the Holiday party on December'f8, 2QO8. Mr. Beeche reported that he wrote checks to Gunoe the landscaping company, Minuteman press for printing, folding, stuffing, and applying the postage stamps (provided to them by Mr. Beeche}, Tequesta Police and Fire department for the Holiday Donation, Santa, the magician, and aGames to you" for the Holiday party, Feb 03 09 11:11a MBELLI 561-744-8145 p.2 The Tequesta Country Club for the holiday party, The Tequesta Department of Rec. for the use of the Room for TCCCA meetings for 2008 and an advance payment for the smaller room for 2009. The details of these payments to be printed out and distributed to the Board by the new Treasurer, Larry Dugan, at the February meeting. Social report -Phil Cary (Not present) The social report was given by UVilliam Beeche due to the fact that social director, Phil Cary, was not able to attend the meeting. Mr. Beeche reported that all who attended the Holiday party had a wonderful time. Santa, the Magician, and Games to You" provided all the kids with fun and excitement. The members also had a great time socializing, meeting new friends and eafing the fine fare offered by the Tequesta Country Club staff. Thanks and praise to Phit Cary for yet another fantastic event. Grounds and Maintenance - Sterren ~faughn even Vaughn reported that the lights at the "South Gate" entrance to the TCCCA were #o be repaired by McBride Electric some time in January. He also reported that the Q©ck repair had been completed and that Dolphin _ Construcfion did a nice job and that they also added large coral rocks on either side of the ramp as decoration. Steve reported that the lock box for the new gate would be installed by Cypress Locksmith some time in January 2009. He also menfioned that the large stump next to the ramp would have to removed before any paving of the blacktop could ommence and that any quote for the paving w©uld need to include stump Presidents deport -William Beeche William Beeche reported that a[I the members had a great time at the Holiday party. He motioned that the TCCCA should not pay for a box they are not using. Steve Vaughn Seconded the motion and a vote was ca{led for and taken and all voted in favor of the motion. William reported that he would attend a ~Hearing° of the Special Magistrate for code enforce for violations received by the TCCCA for repairs to the landscape lighting at the "South Gate° entrance to the TCCCA, preformed during the installation of new plants at the gate. William suggested that the TCCGA hire an Licensed Electrical Company to pull a pemnit far the job prior to the meeting, so that we could show the City of Tequesta that we are attempting to remedy the violation in a timely manner. Steve Vaughn said that he would call McBride Electric and have them pull a permit William submitted a bill and receipts to the new Treasurer for items that he had purchased on behalf of the TCCCA and requested a check for it. The meeting was called adjourned at 8:30 PM. Neat meeting February 2, 2009.
