As we have discussed, during the past fiscal year this truck will increase our fleet capabilities to haul more materials such as dirt and vegetation debris. With the occurrences of last years Hurricanes, I believe that we should move ahead with this purchase. • This purchase will allow the Village to respond with more equipment and give us an advantage when larger equipment is required. This piece of equipment will also be an asset to the entire Municipality. We will also be able to assist other Departments as needed. Total cost for this purchase is $45,639.00 from the Florida Sheriff's Association /Florida Association of Counties Contract # 04-12-0823. The funding for this purchase will be split between the Stormwater Fund with a budgeted amount of $30,000.00 and the Water Fund having a budgeted amount of $34,000.00.
