Ccuncilalen present were: Messrs . Valier, Co=melius and Sylvester. Jtlsa gresent was Robert Harp, Village Clerk. Mayor Valier advised that the Hearing had been called to act upon the application of the 'tY Federal Savings and Loan Association to have a portion c+f their property on the Northeast Coxmer of II.S. Highway No. I and'~terway Road rezoned froel R-Z to C-l. The Hearing had been duly advertised and adjacent property owners also had been notified by letter. Mr. Robert F. Cromwell, President of Community Federal Savings and Doan l~ssociation, appeared before the Hearing explaining the companyis plans for the building and parking, stating the building wrouid be like the one at Blue Henn Boulevard and II.S. Highwaay No. 1 only on a slightly smaller scale. He stated that the original zoning of the parcel provided that the west 25U feet be zoned C-1 and the east 15a feet zoned 8,2. Since parking is an iatportaat part of their business operatio:a, they need to use the east l50 feet of the parcel for parking to adequately meet their needs and. zoning parking requirements. Mr. Valier called far any objections front the floor and there were none and the Hearing wras advised that no written objections had been. • received.
