Friday, September 16, 1966 at ~:0~ P.M. at the Village Hall. Coua~ilmen present were: Messrs, Bo~~d.eti, Sylvestbr, Cornelius, Daher and Bledsoe. Mayor Bowden advised that as decided at the Regular Council Meeting, the meeting had been called to act upon an Ordinance and Rese- lution for the annexation of Bermuda Terrace Subdivision. The Dillage Clerk read as Ordinance declaring the intent of the Village of ~egfibdta, Florida to annex the Subdivision of Bermuda Terrace; providing..for the calling of a Special Election in the Village and is the area p~iro~sed to be annexed fer the su~rai.ssion to the duly registered voters in the respective Village and area proposed to be annexed of the approval or disapproval of said proposed annexation. Said "Special Election" to be held Tuesday, October ls, 1966. Val3.er moved seconded by, Bledsoe and unanimously messed that the rea,diag of the Ordinance be approved. &11 Councilmen being present and pot3.ng 1^or approval of the. O~diaa,nce, Ordinance No. 122 eras hereby passe. and adopted oa first reading. .The Village C1erlt then read r-.e9o11it3vn l~i~. ~r~66 ~ettirig the date oi' the Special Election for the proposed annexation of the Bermuda Terrace Subdivision; naming Inspectors of Elections; and providing other requirements for the conduct of the Special Election. Dauer moved, second by Bledsoe and unanimously passed that Resolution No. 4x-66 be adopted. The Village Clerk read a Resolution of sympathy for the family of the ]ate Mr. A. Douglas Murphy. The Councilmen unanimously approves. th® Resolution and the Cleric teas instructed to fortaa.rd a copy of same to the family of Mr. ~. Doug]ra.s Murphy. Meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
