FLORIDA - 33458 • March 8, 1966 HENRY M. DUSENBERY CHIEF OF POLICE The Police Department instituted or investigated. sixty com- plaints during the month of February, 1966, including five minor traffic accidents, with no injuries. Police vehicles traveled a total of 4,812 miles using 465.9 gallons of gas and three quarts of oil. Four traffic violation su~unons were issued for minor traffic arrests and two parking violations ticketed. Two criminal offenses were reported this month. Grand Lar- cenies, Investigation proved one case unfounded and other case solved by apprehension of guilty party and full recovery of stolen article. Complainant refused to press charges. Seventeen people were assisted ranging from running out of gas to lost house keys. issued. Thirty-three applications for I.D. Cards were processed and One Solicitation Permit issued to Heart Fund Campaign. Three other groups of solicitors apprehended and transported out of the area. The second of a series of twelve films was shown on the Medical Self Help Program. The Jupiter-Hobe Sound Kiwanis Club group attended en masse and indi- cated sound approval of the program. Coffee and donuts served at conclusion of film. Next Civil Defense Meeting will be held on March 28, 1966 at Tequesta Village Hall at 8:OC P.ri. Wl a~,~, H.hi.
