PRESENT: Special Master Lara Donlon; Code Enforcement Officer Joe Petrickr and
Village Clerk's Assistant Deanna Mayo
The hearing was called to order at 10:05 A.M.
Code Enforcement Special Master Donlon approved the minutes of the March 27, 2008
Special Master Hearing as submitted.
The following cases were heard by the Special Master:

The Respondent, Nancy Jones, was represented at the hearing by her son Stuart Jones
and there was a finding of proper notice. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer
testified to and produced photographs of the violation.
Conclusion of law was that Respondent, Nancy Jones, was, but is no longer in violation
of Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-157, Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-152, and
Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-154,of the Code of Ordinances of the ViNage of
Tequesta. Respondent remains in violation of Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-153 of
the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Special Master Lara Donlon ordered that Respondent, Nancy Jones, shall continue to
comply with Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-157, Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-152,
and Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-154,of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
• Tequesta. Special Master Donlon further ordered that Respondent shall comply with
Chapter 14 Article VI Section 14-153 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
7equesta by the 8th day of June, 2008.
If Respondent does not comply within the time specified, Respondent shall be assessed
a Erne of up to $250.00 per day until the property is in full compliance.
A Fine Assessment Hearing will be held before the Special Master on the 26th day of
June, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Village of Tequesta, Code Compliance Division, 345
Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida.
Respondent shall be assessed $305.75 for administrative costs to be paid by the 8th day
of June, 2008.
Future violations of the aforementioned code sections may be considered a repeat
violation for which a fine of up to $500.00 per day may be imposed beginning on the
date the violation begins.
A certfied copy of this Order may be recorded in the Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida, and once recorded, shall constitute a lien against the property of the
original amount upon which the violation existed and upon any other real or personal
property owned by the Respondent, pursuant to Chapter162, Florida Statutes, for the

The Respondent, Candida Martinez, was not present at the hearing, however, there
was a finding of proper notice. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer tested to and
produced photographs of the violation. He also testified that this violation constitutes a
threat to the public safety.
Conclusion of law was that Respondent Candida Martinez is in violation of Chapter 78
Article VII Section 78-257 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Special Master Lara Donlon ordered that Respondent Candida Martinez shall comply
with Chapter 78 Article VII Section 78-257 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Tequesta by the 27"' day of April, 2008. This violation constitutes a threat to the public
safety. Due to the serious nature of the violation, the Village is authorized to correct the
violation and charge the cost of repairs to the Respondent.
If Respondent does not comply within the time specified, Respondent shall be assessed
a fine of up to $250.00 per day until the property is in full compliance.
A Fine Assessment Hearing will be held before the Special Master on the 22"~ day of
May at 10:00 a.m. at the Village of Tequesta, Code Compliance Division, 345 Tequesta
Drive, Tequesta, Florida.
Respondent shall be assessed $288.75 for administrative costs to be paid by the 4t~' day
of May, 2008.

The Respondent, Frank Tarpiee, was present at the hearing; and, there was a finding
of pn~per notice. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer testified to the repeat
violation_ The Respondent testified as to his attempts to comply_ The Respondent is in
repeat violation beginning March 20, 2008.
Conclusion of law was that Respondent, Frank Tarptee, is in repeat violation of Chapter
30, Article II, Section 30-33, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Special Master Lara Donlon ordered that Respondent shalt continue to comply with
Chapter 30 Article II Section 30-33 0# the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Tequesta..
A fine of $250.00 per day is hereby assessed for the repeat violation that exists. The
fine is imposed beginning March 20, 2008, and will continue to accrue at $250.00 per
day for each day the violation continues to exist.
Respondent shall be assessed $420.95for administrative costs to be paid immediately.
A certified copy of this Order may be recorded in the Public Records of Palm Beach
County, Florida, and once recorded, shall constitute a lien against the property of the
