HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_46-02/03_08/12/2003• • • RESOLUTION 46-02/03 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, VACATING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY LYING EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO LOTS 1 THROUGH 7, BLOCK 3, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT OF JUPITER HEIGHTS, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 23, PAGE 69, PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the owner of the land and property hereinafter described has petitioned the Village to abandon and vacate the portion of the alley that is located on the east boundary and adjacent to lots 1 through 7, block 3 of the Jupiter Heights Subdivision; and WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta does hereby find and determine that the necessity for the alley located on the following described property is no longer necessary and does not serve any public purpose nor is it necessary for public use; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, as follows: That certain alley located on property commonly known as 801 US Highway 1, Tequesta, Florida, more particularly described as follows: All that part of the 20. 00 foot alley lying east of and adjacent to lots 1 through 7, block 3, according to the plat of Jupiter Heights, as recorded in Plat Book 23, page 69, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida. Containing 2800 square feet, more or less. be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to record this Resolution pursuant to law. s FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 11th day of October, A.D, 2001.
