The Planning & Zoning Board meets the first Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m., (as needed)
at the Village Council Chambers, 345 Tequesta Drive. The applicant will be informed by letter
of their scheduled meeting date. Due to administrative review, the meeting date the applicant is
scheduled to attend, may not be the closest meeting to when the application is submitted.
The applicant will supply the Village of Tequesta Department of Community Development with
the following documents, a minimum of fifteen (15) days prior to the scheduled meeting date.
1) Twelve (12) sets of professionally prepared plans showing a drawing of proposed
entry columns and gate, set-backs from the property lines and from the edge of
roadway or sidewalk, whichever applies.
2) Twelve (12) photos of existing entrance from roadway.
3) Twelve (12) color samples and materials to be used.
4) Written approval from property owner, if other than the applicant.
Fee: X100.00
Planning & Zoning Board:
The Planning & Zoning Board consists of five (5) members and two (2) alternate members, who
are citizens of the Village of Tequesta. They have been appointed by the Village Council as an
Advisory Board to the Council. The Planning & Zoning Board reviews site plans for the Village
and aesthetic qualities of structures placed within the Village. If the documentation and
presentation of your application provides the Board with a thorough knowledge based from
which to make a decision, the process will go smoothly and quickly.

gate for our home that is under construction.
They ara the builder of our home and will also be building the en*:r~+, taking care of this
subrnission and the permitting to follow the approval.
Attached are the plans, requested pictures of the current entry, color and rnateriai
samples for the completed work along with this approval letter.
