Re: EAC Review of Proposed FRDAP Grants for Constitution Park and
Remembrance Park
Comments: Prior to the last meeting of the EAC, Tequesta staff contacted me and asked if I
would allow the October 9 EAC agenda to include the review of the proposed
FRDAP grants for Constitution Park and Remembrance Park for the purpose of
meeting the deadline established by the state, the pre -application requrrments and for
other purposes. The deadline for the submittal of grant proposals is on the very near
horizon and staff needs the maximum amount of time in order to meet all of the pre -
application requirements as well as completion of the application itself. For this
reason, these grant items are on the EAC agenda.
Greg Corbitt, Director of Recreation, has been requested to submit a memorandum to
Lori McWilliams that provides greater details about the grants and what it is they
propose to do with that money for each of the referenced parks.
