PUBLIC NOTICE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
The Planning and Zoning Board of the Village of Tequesta, sitting as the Local Planning Agency of the
Village of Tequesta,will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located at the Village Council Chambers
located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469 on October 17, 2019 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary, to act upon the
following development application(s):
ORDINANCE NO. 23-19
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,AMENDING
THE VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES AT CHAPTER 78. ZONING. SEC. 78-745. PROHIBITIONS IN
ALL ZONING DISTRICTS. BY ALLOWING RETAIL USES TO HAVE ONE OUTDOOR DISPLAY OF
MERCHANDISE UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER
SECTION AND SUBSECTION OF CHAPTER 78 SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS
PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND
AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village
Hall, Monday through Friday, during the normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public
Hearings may be continued from time to time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to
come to the Public Hearings and be heard.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect
to any matter considered at such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include the testimony and
evidence from which the appeal is to be based. The Village of Tequesta does not provide such a
record.
