SUMMARY: This is a request to execute the attached Letter of Intent required by the Manufacturer to commence production of one (1) 2020 Custom Medium Duty 623 Horton Body Rescue Transport Vehicle in the amount of $298,660.28 pursuant to pricing based on Florida Sheriff's Association Contract FSA Contract #FSA18-VEF13.0, Specification #03 Type 1 Ambulance-2 Wheel Drive Medium Duty (Dual Rear Wheel, Cab & Chassis). This vehicle was chosen due to proprietary safety equipment, crew familiarity, and maintenance considerations. For full specifications, please see Fire Chief. This purchase has been budgeted for the FY 19-20 Budget.
