RESOLUTION NO 60-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, AUTHORIZING THE ENTRY
INTO AN ACCESS AGREEMENT WITH
RING CAMERA SYSTEM; FOR THE
POLICE DEPARTMENTS CRIMINAL
’
INVESTIGATION PURPOSES;
WHEREAS, the Village is entering into an access agreement
with RING camera systems; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police, has determined and
verified that entering into this RING camera access agreement, will
serve the Police Department and its investigative needs; and
WHEREAS, Ring will make the Neighbors app available
to the community residents, and the Neighbors portal to the Village
of Tequesta’s Police Department free of charge; and the Tequesta
Police Department will use the Neighbors Portal only for law
enforcement purposes, and the Tequesta Police Department will
not share its credentials beyond its law enforcement personnel; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:The Village Council of the Village of
Tequesta hereby adopts this Resolution and thereby approves the
request to enter into the access agreement with RING camera
systems, known as Neighbors by Ring Access Agreement
Section 2:
This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
