Regular Council STAFF MEMO a Meeting: Regular Council - May 14 2020 Staff Contact: Hugh Dunkley, Finance Director Department: Finance Approve One Year Renewal of Auditing Contract with Marcum LLP During the March 2, 2020 Council Workshop, we discussed placing an item on the April 9th Council agenda for approval of the members of the audit selection committee for selecting a CPA firm to conduct the FY2020 annual financial audit. Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic and the fact that the committee members typically would meet in person, staff is hereby recommending renewal of the current auditing contract with the CPA firm of Marcum LLP. Over the years, Marcum has delivered excellent customer service to the Village. The proposed fee of $63,177 was not increased from the fee that was charged for the FY2019 audit. The signed engagement letter that pertains to the FY2020 audit is on file in the Finance Department. Please contact Hugh Dunkley at 561.768.0424 to view the file.
