Approve Marine Law Enforcement Contract for the Manatee Protection Plan

The Tequesta Police Department has been awarded an additional $2,000 for Manatee protection.
This money is used to help enforce boating laws and laws which protect the Manatees. This money
is awarded to the Tequesta Police Department by the Department of Environmental Resources
Management.
Recommend to pass a motion, accepting the $2,000 from the Department of Environmental
Resources Management.

Board of County On October 11, 2019, the Tequesta Police Department was awarded up to
Commissioners $16,660 from the Palm Beach County Manatee Protection Plan (MPP)

Waterways.

reimbursed up to an additional $2,000 for this effort, for a total award of
