Time Extension for Site Plan Approval
ORDER GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME FOR SITE PLAN APPROVAL
THIS CAUSE came on to be heard upon the above request for extension of time, and the
Village of Tequesta Village Council, being otherwise duly advised,
THEREUPON, the Tequesta Village Council finds as follows:
1. The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta approved the application for a Site
Plan Approval in Case No. SPR-1-19 on January 9, 2020.
2. According to Section 78-334(h) of the Village of Tequesta Code of Ordinances, A
building permit must be issued within one year of the date of the site plan
approval or the approval shall be nullified ... "unless such time period is extended
for one more year only by the Village Council upon written request of the
applicant submitted to the Village prior to expiration of the site plan."
3. The applicant has made a written request for a twelve (12) month extension of the
Order granting the Site Plan approval in this case so that it will have time to
obtain amended approvals for its revised development application.
4. According to Section 78-334(h) of the Village of Tequesta Code of Ordinances,
the Village Council has the right, power and authority to grant the extension being
requested by the applicant.
5. In the judgment of the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, the public
convenience and welfare will best be served by Approving the request for an
extension.
IT IS THEREUPON CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED by the Village
Council of the Village of Tequesta as follows:
The request for extension of time for Site Plan Approval, SPR 1-19, Royal Tequesta LLC,
with reference to the property described herein, located in the Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach
County, Florida, to allow the applicant:
A twelve (12) month extension of time for the Site Plan Approval granted in Case No.
SPR-1-19; said extension of time to commence on January 9, 2021,
IS HEREBY APPROVED in accordance with the Village Zoning Code, Sec. 78-334(h).
DONE AND ORDERED this 101h day of December 2020.
