Memo To: Environmental Advisory Committee Members From: Thomas G. Bradford, Chair, EAC rR cc: NA Date: November 3, 2020 Re: Review of Village Responses to EAC Comments and Questions on The Future Land Use and Transportation Elements of the Comprehensive Plan and Plan for Moving Forward with Other Elements Please review the attached Excel spreadsheet submitted by Village Manager Jeremy Allen responding to all questions prepared by the EAC on the Future Land Use and Transportation Elements of the comprehensive Plan previously posed by the EAC members. Mr. Allen is open to EAC suggestions on many issues, but appears to not want to amend the Comprehensive Plan until the next State review cycle for Tequesta. I suggest we all review closely the questions and responses of Mr. Allen. Next we should circle back next month when I will present a draft document converting all items currently appearing as suggestions to recommendations to ultimately be delivered to the Village Council and Staff. This will memorialize our recommendations for use at the proper time whether by a Comprehensive Plan Amendment prior to the next State review cycle or at that point in time. Going forward I recommend we get on with the review of remaining Comprehensive Plan Elements, ask our questions and seek answers amongst ourselves and make our own independent recommendations and include those recommendations in our document of recommendations for Village Council and Staff consideration.
