The public also has the opportunity to speak to any item listed on the agenda, including the consent agenda, at the time the agenda item comes up for discussion. Citizens desiring to address the Committee should proceed toward the public microphones or, if applicable, raise your hand when the applicable agenda item is being considered to enable the Chair to acknowledge you. All items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion . There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Committee Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the Agenda. 1. PLEASE TAKE NOTE ADA ACCESSIBILITY: The Village of Tequesta strives to be an inclusive environment. As such, it is the Village's policy to comply with the requirements of Title II of the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA") by ensuring our records are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Hearing impaired persons please note wireless hearing system receivers are available by requesting the same from the Village Clerk. Note 1: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by this Committee with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, he/she will need a record of the proceedings. For such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Note 2: Items listed on the Consent Agenda will be approved by one motion of the Committee, unless an individual Committee Member requests that any item(s) be moved to the Regular Agenda and individually considered. Environmental Advisory Committee Meetings are public business meetings and, as such, the Committee and/or its Chair retain the right to limit discussion on any issue.
