To achieve this, three quotes were solicited from qualified vendors: American Painting, Sun Art Painting, and Munyan Painting. After meeting with Utilities staff to review the scope, three of the vendors submitted proposals (attached). Note: Munyon Painting originally declined to quote due to workload however they followed back up and chose to quote the work. The results are summarized below. Vendor Quote Notes American Painting Corp. $15,200 Quote meets all of the requested specifications for proper surface prep and painting. Sun Art Painting Corp. $26,500 Quote meets all of the requested specifications for proper surface prep and painting. Munyan Painting $10,729 Quote meets all of the requested specifications for proper surface prep and painting. After review of the proposals received, Utilities staff recommends awarding the project to Munyan Painting in the amount of $10,729. The approved FY21 budget included $15,000 to complete this project. STANDARDS - All applicable standards adopted by the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America shall he incorporated into these documents. 9. i IAZARDOuS MATERIALS -- in the event Contractor encounters on the job site lead -base paint or any other material such as, but not limited to, asbestos or polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) k+hich by law is required to he removed or rendered harmless and about which the Contractor has not been notified in writing prior to entering into its contract with the Accepting Party, the Contractor shall immediately stop work and shall not be responsible for the removal or rendering harmless of such material. The Accepting Patty agrees to hold the Contractor harmless as to any liability resulting from such material in the event the Contractor has not been notified as ati>re,aid. Additional costs including overhead and profit, incurred by these conditions shall be reimbursed to the Contractor. 10.
