RESOLUTION NO. 55-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, INCREASING REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND 2021/2022 BUDGET BY $29090.00 TO RECOGNIZE ADDITIONAL REVENUES FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR MANATEE PATROL SERVICES AS WELL AS RECOGNIZING RELATED OVERTIME EXPENDITURES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the General Fund 2021/2022 Budget currently includes $16,660.00 for manatee patrol services; and, WHEREAS, Palm Beach County has notified the Village that they are eligible to receive $18,750.00 in Fiscal Year 2022 for manatee patrol services; and, WHEREAS, the Village incurs overtime expenditures for the manatee patrol services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. 55-21 is hereby approved increasing revenues and expenditures in the General Fund 2021/2022 Budget by $2,090.00 to recognize additional revenues from Palm Beach County for manatee patrol services as well as recognizing related overtime expenditures. Marino October 21, 2021 Detective Michael Loney Tequesta Police Department Village of Tequesta 357 Tequesta Drive Tequesta, FL 33469 SUBJECT: MARINE LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTRACT Dear Detective Loney: I am pleased to announce that the Tequesta Police Department is eligible for up to $18,750 for additional on -water law enforcement in the County's waterways to provide greater manatee protection. Law enforcement services shall be performed from November 15, 202 1, through March 31, 2022, at the rate of $87.50 per hour in accordance with the Interlocal Agreement (IA). Gregg K.
