The funds for the vehicle are coming from the American Rescue Plan Act. This Ford Utility is already fully outfitted with lights, sirens and other equipment. The vehicle will still need to be marked with Tequesta Fire Rescue text and graphics. Due to supply chain issues, many vehicles are in short supply now with wait times being 6 months or more. After careful consideration and a thorough research of all available options, it is my recommendation to purchase the vehicle from Alan Jay Fleet Sales at a cost of $42,696.22. The price and delivery time on this vehicle is the most desirable. It is respectfully requested approval be granted for the same.
