The property owner, Presbytery of Tropical Florida Inc., has provided its approval for the event. The applicant has provided proof of general liability insurance (see attached). The purpose of the event is to raise funds for mission work and community work. The event is to be held on Saturday, April 30t", 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. No alcohol will be served. Food will be sold at the event. The projected number of attendees for the event is —800 over the course of the event. In the parking area there will be three (3) open tents set up (i.e., without sides), two (2) food trucks and a kid's play area. The event will have a live band and the stage will be set up facing south of Tequesta Drive (see site plan attached). Fire Hazards: Our campus is a licensed preschool, so fire alarms and alert systems are in place. We will make certain our volunteers are aware of location of fire extinguishing equipment that is located through out our campus. This event will take place outside of our buildings, with two sets of restrooms to be opened for the public to use. There are two exits available for the restrooms and indicated on the site map. Severe Weather Conditions: We would cancel the event if severe weather warrants that action. In case of sudden weather conditions, our Sanctuary is not used for this event and is available to shelter attendees. First Presbyterian Church of Tequesta is a member congregation of the Presbytery. In our system of governance, the Presbytery holds the property in trust and each congregation manages, insures, and maintains those properties as the trustee. Hence, all insurance on the property is held by the officers of the congregation and is in the name of the congregation. Our Trust Clause sates in G-4.0203 (Presbyterian Church USA Book of Order): All property held by or for a congregation, a presbytery, a synod, the General Assembly, or the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), whether legal title is lodged in a corporation, a trustee or trustees, or an unincorporated association, and whether the property is used in programs of a congregation or of a higher council or retained for the production of income, is held in trust nevertheless for the use and benefit of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The Certificate of Liability Insurance that reads "First Presbyterian Church of Tequesta" is the appropriate policy that would be in effect for all events that take place on the property there at 482 Tequesta Drive.
